NDTC 2012 Offers 16 Workshops, Grants for Projects
The 2012 Neighborhood Development Training Conference is jam-packed with sessions focused on issues important to residents across Santa Clara County, including public safety, health, energy, voting and communication.
With the mission of “Engaging Community in Learning, Service and Leadership,†organizers have added a special feature this year for San Jose neighborhood associations – a two-part session aimed at providing grants for small projects.
The NDTC will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 29, at San Jose State University’s Engineering Building Auditorium and Clark Hall. Registration fee is $10 in advance and $20 at the door. The deadline to apply online or by mail is Friday, September 21. A light breakfast and lunch are included.
