Stop VTA’s Denial of Service
Take 30 seconds to use the form below to tell the The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Agency (VTA) Board of Directors to stop the denial of bus and light rail service. The email will be send to the VTA Board Chair and Secretary, the full San Jose City Council, and additional VTA Board members as their email addresses are identified (VTA apparently does not list their email addresses on their web site.)
VTA announced on 3/9/25 that effective 3/10/25 there would be bus or light rail service “until further notice”. It has not provided bus and light rail service since that time. Students, families and workers have been and continue to be impacted.
Use the the form below to send an email the VTA Board of Directors to tell them it is long past time to stop the denial of service to Santa Clara County students, families, and workers. The email will remind them that the impact of the denial of service is often a denial of opportunity and the ability to thrive. The email will ask that they take steps to resume service as soon as possible. The email will request that they post a daily update regarding steps VTA has taken that day to facilitate resumption of service. The email will remind them that their leadership is the key to resolving this situation for all.
You will be able to add a personal comment if you prefer. The text of the email is below the form. You will receive a confirmation email.
